Somewhere west of downtown…

Somewhere west of downtown in an almost idyllic pocket of the west end, lies a home like no other spreading it’s joy to whomever crosses it’s threshold. This Long Branch beauty has been holding court as the Grande Dame of Arcadian Circle for well over a century with her gracious air and open appeal. You can’t help but wander slowly from room to room, your bare feet moving from cool granite to the warmth of hardwood, imagining family dinners, the holidays and quiet time. It feels like home.

Rolling out the dough for your family’s favourite pie on the granite counters will seem effortless knowing that everything you could possibly want in a kitchen was right at your fingertips here. Sipping coffee at the breakfast table and staring out at the vast expanse of green in front of you will make you realize how lucky you are.

And when it’s finally time to call it a day, you’ll have your very own luxurious master suite to call your own. A gracious siting room with built-in fireplace and TV and a dressing room that is truly big enough to handle all your sartorial splendor complete the picture. Sure, there’s room enough for everyone but sometimes, you’ll wish you had it all to yourself.

This peaceful retreat is only a short drive or train ride to the center of the city when that pesky thing called work summons you. When the whistle blows however, you will find yourself with so much to do: play fetch with Rover in your own fully contained and sprawling yard, jog down to the lake, perhaps cycle over to the park or your very own boat moored nearby at the marina. Everything is a close at hand and yet you feel so far away from it all.

Hi Everyone,

We hope you are all keeping healthy and safe at home - what a few weeks it has been! With the ever-changing COVID-19 situation, we wanted to update you on how we plan to continue working and what we are seeing in the market.

Realtors have been deemed an essential service (for now) by the province of Ontario, mainly so that buyers/sellers who have upcoming closings during this time are not left stranded. While our office has ceased all in-person meetings and showings, we are able to continue business for our clients (through phone calls and Zoom/Skype) who are planning their listings or still looking to invest in the market.

We have been watching the market very closely. We are seeing some sellers (including our own) hold off on listings, some condo buildings have banned showings altogether, some properties and units are selling as expected while others aren’t selling or are being taken off the market. There’s a reason everyone keeps using the word “unprecedented”. We’ve never gone through this before and there is so much uncertainty. One thing we do know, the longer this lasts, the bigger its impact will be.

The best advice we can give our clients is to hang tight, stay home and put the health of your loved ones first. If you want to talk about real estate or just say ‘hi’, give us a call! We love Zoom, Skype, Facebook, FaceTime, WhatsApp… the list goes on.

We’re here for you. Be safe friends!
